Finding Grants

Saving, Dismissing, and Tracking Grants

Keep track of the grants that matter by saving the ones you want to pursue and dismissing the ones you don't.

Saving a grant

Saving a grant bookmarks it so you can find it again quickly under the Saved tab.

To save a grant:

  1. On the Grant Opportunities page, find the grant in Cards or Table view.
  2. Click the bookmark icon on the card (or the Save button in the table row).
  3. The icon fills in and the button label changes to Saved to confirm it worked.

You can also save a grant from inside its full details view by clicking Save for Later.

To remove a grant from your saved list, click the same bookmark icon or button again — it toggles between Save and Saved.

Dismissing a grant

If a grant isn’t a good fit, you can dismiss it so it moves out of your active lists and into the Dismissed tab.

To dismiss a grant:

  1. Open the grant’s full details.
  2. Click Not Relevant.
  3. Choose a reason from the dropdown — for example, “Not relevant to my project,” “Deadline too soon,” “Funding amount too small,” “Eligibility requirements don’t match,” or “Already applied.” Choose Other to type in your own reason.
  4. Click Confirm Dismiss.

Your dismissal reason helps Grantboost fine-tune future matches, so it’s worth picking the closest option.

Restoring a dismissed grant

Changed your mind? You can bring a dismissed grant back at any time.

  1. Go to the Dismissed tab.
  2. Find the grant in the list.
  3. Click Restore.

The grant returns to its normal status and reappears in your Open, Upcoming, or All My Grants tabs as applicable.

Exporting your grant results

You can export the grants in any tab to a spreadsheet-friendly file.

  1. From the Grant Opportunities page, select the tab you want to export (for example, Saved or Open).
  2. Optionally, use the search box to narrow down the results first.
  3. Click Export.

The download includes each grant’s funder, title, description, amount, open date, deadline, and apply link.

Free account view limits

If you’re on a free account, opening a grant’s full details uses one of your monthly Free Grant Views — free accounts get 5 per month. A small meter near the top of the Grant Opportunities page shows how many you’ve used (for example, “2/5 used”). Once you’ve used all 5, opening another grant’s details will prompt you to upgrade.

Browsing grant cards, saving, dismissing, and exporting don’t use up your free views — only opening a grant’s full details does.
